Mission:
Crash Landing
Timeline: Date 1961-09-15 at 1100
The Historian sat leaning against the doorway of her Type 66 Tardis, while looking out towards a star that was going supernova. She was at a safe distance away of course. So far not much had happened aside from the supernova itself. Nevertheless, there was something about certain novas that always caught her eye. In normal circumstances she would actually fly directly into the supernova at hand. In normal circumstances. These weren't normal. She was on her last incarnation. Ahria couldn't afford to risk her life if there wasn't a valid reason to do so. She couldn't regenerate anymore.
She had risked her life too many times, starting with the war. She had regenerated shortly before the Time War. She was one of the lucky few who didn't regenerate, let alone die. The Historian got up off of the floor and went to the kitchen, which was a few decks down. She was missing part of the nova, but she wasn't missing too much. She brewed a cup of coffee from Earth. When the machine was done brewing, she went back up to the console room, and took her previous spot in the doorway entrance to the Tardis.
As soon as she was about to take a sip of her warm drink, there was a beeping coming from the console. Agitated, she got up and stepped towards the Tardis console. "What do you want now? I'm in the middle of viewing a supernova" she spoke to the Tardis. she then moved around the console towards one of the circular monitors. "Let's see what-" the information on the screen made her speechless. "No, that can't be possible. Well, I mean if it's the doctor, but who knows if even he is alive" she spoke to herself out loud.
She set her coffee on the console and looked towards the window in the console room that also doubled as another monitor, which had the supernova on display. Ahria sighed. She moved around the console to prepare the Tardis for flight, and she then put in her desired coordinates. After everything was ready, she closed the Tardis doors from the console. She flipped the lever to take her into the time vortex. Even if she was leaving, she'd be back later. After all, a historian couldn't pass up an opportunity to view history, even if it was an uneventful supernova.
